Joingy Terms of Service
This page is the agreement between you and Joingy, the random video chat and text chat where one click introduces you to someone new. We kept the language as plain as legal text allows — if anything here is unclear, write to support[at]joingy.online before you assume.
The plain-words summary (it never replaces the full text): Joingy is for adults only, every stranger on your screen deserves the same respect you want, free matches are a limited daily allowance while coins and VIP keep conversations going, and Joingy makes introductions — it does not vouch for the people you meet.
1. Agreeing to These Terms
By opening Joingy or starting a match, you accept these Terms of Service together with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. If you cannot accept them, the only right move is to stop using Joingy. Using the site after we update these terms counts as accepting the new version.
These terms cover everything Joingy offers: random video matching, text chat, skip and report tools, coins and VIP features, and the support and safety systems around them.
2. Who Joingy Is For
Joingy is strictly for adults. You must be 18 or older — or older where your local law sets a higher bar — to use the service or appear on camera. If we have reason to believe a user is underage, we will suspend access while we check and remove the account if confirmed.
Where Joingy offers an account, it belongs to you alone. Do not share, sell, or lend it, and keep your login details private. Activity that happens through your account is treated as yours, so tell us quickly if you suspect someone else has access.
3. What Joingy Does
Joingy matches you with real people around the world for random video chat and, when you would rather type, a relaxed text chat with strangers. The how it works page walks through the whole flow if you want the step-by-step version.
Two honest points. First, features evolve: we may add, change, or retire parts of the service, and no feature is guaranteed forever — live video depends on networks, devices, and other people being online. Second, Joingy makes the introduction. We do not verify every user's identity, endorse anyone you meet, or sit inside your conversations.
4. Joingy Coins and Payments
Your first matches on Joingy are free, and a limited allowance of free matches is available each day. That allowance is genuinely limited, may change over time, and is not a promise of unlimited free use. Beyond it, joingy coins keep conversations and premium features going, and VIP packages bundle extra benefits for a set period.
Prices, package contents, and renewal terms are always shown inside the product before you pay — that in-product display is what governs your purchase, which is why this page does not fix numbers in text that would go stale.
- Coins and virtual gifts are a licence to use features inside Joingy — not money, not a deposit, not transferable off the platform, and with no cash value.
- Completed purchases of digital goods or consumed services are generally non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or the purchase page says so.
- Payments are processed by third-party providers; we do not store your full card details.
- Fraud, chargebacks, or payment abuse can lead to cancelled orders, feature limits, or account suspension.
5. Fair Play and Community Rules
The conduct rules live in the Community Guidelines, and they are part of this agreement, not an optional extra. The short list of what is never acceptable on Joingy:
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or pressuring anyone who has said no or skipped you
- Nudity or sexual content in public matching, and any sexual content involving a minor anywhere — reported to the authorities
- Recording, screenshotting, or republishing another user's video or messages without permission
- Scams, begging for money or gift cards, phishing, or asking for passwords and verification codes
- Impersonating another person or Joingy staff
- Bots, scrapers, automation, or attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service
6. Your Camera, Your Content
You keep ownership of what you create on Joingy. By showing or posting content, you grant us the licence we need to host, transmit, display, and moderate it so the service can run.
Remember what a live camera means: whoever you match with can see what you show, and anything visible can be captured by means outside our control. Only share what you would be comfortable existing beyond that one conversation. If you are unsure what to keep private, the safety principles are worth five minutes before your first chat.
7. Third-Party Services
Joingy relies on outside providers for things like payment processing, analytics, hosting, and customer support tooling, and the site may link to pages we do not operate. Those services run under their own terms and privacy practices, which we do not control; a link is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for third-party content or policies.
8. Intellectual Property
The Joingy name, brand, design, and the software behind the service belong to Joingy and its licensors. These terms give you a personal, revocable licence to use the site — not to copy it, resell it, scrape it, or build on top of it without permission.
9. Ending or Losing Access
Breaking these terms or the Community Guidelines can lead to a warning, feature limits, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban, depending on what moderation review finds. Serious violations — above all anything involving minors — are escalated to the relevant authorities. Unused coins are generally not refunded when an account is removed for a violation. You may also stop using Joingy at any time, for any reason.
10. Disclaimers and Liability
Joingy is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep it fast, friendly, and safe, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, any particular match, or any particular outcome from a conversation.
We are not responsible for what other users say or do, and no platform can remove every risk that comes with meeting strangers online. To the maximum extent the law permits, Joingy is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Joingy service is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where your local consumer protection law gives you rights that cannot be waived, those rights stay intact.
12. If These Terms Change
As the product evolves, so will this page. When a change is material, we will make a reasonable effort to make it visible, and the "last updated" date above will move. Continuing to use Joingy after an update means accepting the new terms.
